I'm fairly horrible at Shmups and I can do better than that... Though I'm not posting scores until I'm satisfied with my attempts. I still stumble through some parts.
Re: !
I wonder what they think of this forum? Do they think we're all lying or what? If they really are focused on high scoring culture, surely they should be begging us to set new records for them?DEL wrote:They've outdone themselves again :- http://www.twingalaxies.com/forums/view ... hp?t=11739

(of course, when I say 'us', I mean everyone else, lol. Even though my Ikaruga score is like 5x the TG 'world record' )
if you contact them, they will encourage you to submit scores. the problem lies in the referees and the rule sets though (seen king of kong, anyone?). my metal slug scores weren't allowed because i use a japanese 4-slot motherboard. japanese text = instan fail.
seriously though, they accept VHS replays, we could easily carpet bomb their high score tables (maybe not us europeans though, cuz of the whole PAL signal business )

Re: !
Why not? I think there was a big initiative at some Neo Geo forums a while back to completely crush all the current NG records. Shmups could easily dominate if we wanted to.MX7 wrote:I wonder what they think of this forum? Do they think we're all lying or what? However, I'm lazy, and simply, I don't care much.

Kim de John:
BER - 2,138,446,930 - Kim2 - ? - All
I didn't bother writing down my x8 action value, but I think it's saved. I'll check tomorrow.
By the way, I'm playing the U.S. PS2 port. :/
. . .
Edit: I noted my x8 action value today, so my entry should now read as follows:
BER - 2,138,446,930 - Kim2 - 2,060 - All
