Wow - this game gets the award for hardest to see bullets, surpassing Batrider.

Phase 1 - They are perfectly camougflaged with the background.

I hope you're able to get most of the secrets and not die until after completing sim 45 in the second loop for your next submission.

(That is the requirement for getting into the 2nd loop's Real Battle.)

I don't think I've seen a true 2-ALL3 in the non-Japanese versions of RFJ yet. CYM "only" manages a 2-ALL2 up to Level 50.

A 2-ALL3 replay would be a replay to watch.

After sampling dozens of shooters over the months, coming back to this one since it seems to be of Garegga-like complexity, but it gives this adrenaline rush during those insane sky levels that I just don't get in other shooters anymore.

I haven't really found any strategy info other than on the medal system... does this game have rank? I could have sworn that the enemy bullets were going slower when I used a weaker ship (as opposed to, say, Ixion).

This game indeed does have rank. It's jarring because it works a lot differently than RF1 and RF2, but maximum rank is more or less a consequence of scoring high.

You start at a slightly higher rank if you use the slave ships, but there aren't any initial rank differences between the normal ships.

Watched Alamone's superplay and found a few more holes in my scoring technique (as well as a few more that I'm too much of a wuss to attempt), and I also heavily practiced levels 45 and Phase 1. Thus,
