Damn, that's got to hurt.
Have you made it to the 2-4 boss yet?

Thanks Blinge. Not this one. It was a practice run the night before. I had 3 credits on Friday - 207mil ST2-4, 207mil ST2-4, then this 225mil. Its a shame it wasn't the actual Stunfest Demo run on stage.

Manpuku
ver1.01
DEL - 252,850,570 - ST2-5 - Rafute
Typical that a 225mil and a 252mil came just before and after my Demo Run on Stage
The ST2-5 tank MidBoss kicks out a pretty much no gap spread. I got past it but the next section closed me out, as expected.
1st loop - only about 137.9mil, compared to my best Manpuku 151.6mil. Nevertheless it was all about lives, breaking into the 2nd loop with 4 and just 2mil away from the max 5. Also entered ST2-2 with max 5 lives. ST2-3 was messy but serviceable. ST2-4 was of course where it all mattered and I managed to pull out the lasting-out technique on the ST2-4 tank boss on the speed rush section. Finished ST2-4 with a respectable 237mil. ST2-5 ground me down but I'm very happy with this run.

(My Crimzon Clover run was about 1220oku behind my personal best, so yeah.)
Good job on the new WR!

Thanks ICR. Yes when you're thrown into the lions with a 300+ crowd baying for blood, its a bit impossible to hold your nerve for a score run .
I'll let you know when the 252mil ST2-5 replay lands on Youtube.

I wonder how likely a 1.00 No Miss Loop 1 would be after all your Manpuku playing.

Holy shit. Incredible score.
Do I see a 2-ALL in your future?

During Y'om's commentary on my stage run at Stunfest, he said that a no miss 1st loop of ver1.0 is impossible. I agree. Plus you'd be on a hiding to nothing, as ver1.0's 2nd loop doesn't give any score extends.

A 2-ALL might be possible but highly unlikely. I'll let you decide on the feasibility when you see ST2-5 on Youtube.
My score could have been 16mil higher, because I finished ST2-2 with only 171mil and I did have a run with 187mil at that point. Otherwise I'm very satisfied with this run.

DEL is inspiring.
I'm working on 1.01 and having a blast. With the changes I feel I can play Ikuo and therefore boss milk, which is surprisingly enjoyable. Haven't cleared yet, but my 1.01 score is already a solid 30 mil higher than my 1.00 best. Fun shit.

^Gut
btw. I got past the Manpuku ST2-5 Helicopter Boss a couple of nights ago. No gaps beyond that.

Re: Muchi Muchi Pork! (v1.01, Arrange, Matsuri)
CStarFlare - Don't worry, like in Platoon "I've come through the wire and I ain't stoppin' for shit." At least not until a 300mil+ Zwei-Alle.
Re: Muchi Muchi Pork! (v1.01, Arrange, Matsuri)
I wonder if ARCADIA magazine post western scores on the website, probably not. Just wondering where DEL is in the world ranking.
Re: Muchi Muchi Pork! (v1.01, Arrange, Matsuri)
Japanese top players don't seem to care for console exclusive games/modes.
Re: Muchi Muchi Pork! (v1.01, Arrange, Matsuri)
Not really, the rules and etiquette of high score runs done on console and arcade cabs are very strict in japan. I don't blame them.

What is the console etiquette? First I've heard of that and now I'm curious.

World ranking 1, but like Plasmo says - on a console exclusive game mode. It so happens that ver1.01 Manpuku is superior to the Arcade PCB ver1.0. But if the Japanese players don't choose to play it then I'm happy to sit on top of that particular ranking until they say: "Let's show this Gaijin what WE can do." I'll make it so they don't find it easy though.I wonder if ARCADIA magazine post western scores on the website, probably not. Just wondering where DEL is in the world ranking.
