Discovered that it is possible to get a recharge on the TLB's ZA WARUDO attack which actually makes things a bit easier surprisingly enough. If I didn't mess up on the 3rd boss or medal drop ONE TIME on stage 5 I could have done better, my estimate was 1.13B and that turns out to be where Hagane's score lies as well so I have some more experimenting to do later.

Shit run. Makes a real difference in the first few stages to bomb effectively, kill bosses at the right moments and only pause shot for sucking in the medals *once* as they lose value after you do it more if they're still on-screen. I've been too sick and prone to ragequitting to really get into this otherwise brilliant game but I hope to submit a better score before this is over.

Broke the 500mill barrier! I'm pretty sure if I managed to get to the TLB this time, and didn't make those stupid mistakes at stage 4, this could be 600mill+ or atleast near that. So I'm still not happy with the results, next target is breaking the 600mill barrier and maybe getting that ALL clear.

Got interrupted badly on Stage 3 thanks to rl stuff and not knowing how to pause (I just hit ESC and fortunately the dialog came up rather than quitting out instantly like most shmups), otherwise I think I would've made it to stage 5 and perhaps hit the 150mil mark.

Continuing a bad tradition of not playing the game until the day of submission. (´д｀;) I really should have tried to squeeze in some time after work during the week. Hopefully I'll get a bit more time with it in the afternoon. I completely squandered this run, with incredibly dumb chain deaths to Stage 2 Boss after the extend and other sloppiness. Really liking the game, though.
