F5 should refresh your games
Providing you've put the rom file in the correct directory. Other than that.. :/

Great. If you die at the miniboss in Stage 6, your speed is too slow to navigate the relatively easy section before the final boss and you die again. >:\

I spent a long time with a save state where I had Laser and two Options. I tried to mimic the super play, where it dies pretty fast, exactly and by the looks I'd say I've done it. But the damn thing just does not want to die!

Basically, get 2 fully powered options at the start of the level, then grab laser/ripple + missile and manuever them so they're inside the tail segment. Autofire away and if it gets near the middle of the screen, option bomb it to finish it quickly.

Ok, finally a game i'm good at.

...and, apparently i'm not.

I understand there are some big boss bonuses that i'm not getting at all, but that only accounts for a portion of the disparity.

Only have 1 day before a trip...so gonna have to get something else better than this...ughhh

I'm not sure how this happened. I switched to player 2 and suddenly I kill the stage 1 eye thing and make it pretty far into stage 6.
