Most likely my final score. Psikyo sucks + input lag.

The nvram right before probably should work fine. Might be easier to deal with if you use some sort of batch file to copy it for you.

I don't like this game.

Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
Ignore the wonky initials - I was trying to enter RNG instead of AMI and forgot you can't backspace with B.
1-7 ran at about 89-92% speed until the boss and was really jittery. You may disregard this score but I'll have to cope with running shitty Wolfmame unless I can get a better PC within a week (not likely). Game ran fine otherwise - IDK what's up with that specific stage.
RNG - 906,500 - 1-8 - X-36 - Wolfmame 1.06
Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
Try mame plus, it runs better for me than the current Wolfmame.
Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
WM+ runs it much better but doesn't save the x-36 so I have to re-unlock it every playthrough. Is there a way around that?
Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
Not if you want to save replays. You can do nvram stuff to work around it, but you'd have to do the extra work to maintain the nvram file each time, and you'd need it for playback too'
Dimahoo is a fun game.

I don't get along with the game, I feel like even if I put 500 hours into it, I still wouldn't be able to get to the second loop.

Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
Also, what decides what Space level boss you get? A couple times I've gotten the one that splits into two similar ships (seen in ASP's superplay, both loops), but most of the time I get one that looks nothing like it and has different attack patterns. ._.

died two times on the 1-6 boss and one on the 1-5 boss tier
And the answer to the above question: the side of the screen that you are on, the sides get GEOBITE and the middle gets the twin assholes

Re: STGT'12 Week 1: Strikers 1999
It's decided by your ship's horizontal position at the end of the stage. If you're in the center, you'll get the easier boss (grey satellite > twin flies). The sides will give you the harder one (white satellite > mosquito). You can tell which boss you triggered by looking at the cannon in the background.

This game is boring. I actually came to believe it's a prototype Ketsui build Cave released with Psikyo's name in it just to make them look bad. The only gratifying thing in it is doing X-36 bomb -> Technical bonus.

Focusing on just surviving for now, got technical bonus from the first 4 bosses with the help of bombs though.

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

Press F2 to go to Test Mode, go to Maintenance Code and input 01999. Then at the ship select screen, go to the question mark and press up. That ship is far superior than the others, use it.Kollision wrote:I don't know how to trigger the hidden jet
Played a few credits for kicks and reached 1-6 with 545,500 points. Pretty fun game but insanely hard.
