Arcadia record is a little bit over 6M. I'll never go for it. It's not an "easy" record to beat.

Sikraiken did say it was the two loop record earlier, but that was just Arcadia being a bit confusing... I'm really looking forward to seeing your replay though, the Japanese video is pretty low-res and scores a lot lower than that!

Gemant's old arcadia/gamest database was confusing, his new one doesn't say "1loop" anymore though. I'm sure the player in the video on youtube scores much higher - it just ends right after the first suicide, that's all.

Means they were in the top 3 of their team, so their scores are counted for the team-vs.-team scoreboard.

Official week 1 scoreboard coming tonight... sorry about the delay, guys. I was going to do it last night, but I forgot I switched hard drives since last year (SSD FTW), so I wasn't set up to do this quickly. It'll be up tonight for sure.

dex probably has the correct numbers anyway. The only time I ever found a discrepancy was when I made the same mistake and noticed it weeks later.

Speaking of statistics, my dynamic scoreboard now prints a couple, here's some for week1:

Yes, sik's score is over 8 standard deviations from the norm. I'll whip up a diagram-drawing thing later to see if the scores conform to the normal distribution in the evening (well, because of sik, they surely don't, but still).

Edit:
It is somewhat bell shaped, though with a skew towards higher scores. And just look at that gap.

I just checked the settings of my PCB to turn off the attract sound because it was bugging the shit out of me and I found out that the difficulty was set to HARDEST...

So fuck.. It's too bad, I could have maybe had a more competitive score. Next time I will check that shi!
