God dammit this game is driving me insane playing it for score, you die and you're screwed. Guess this is why I don't play Konami shmups often. Moai battleship fucked me up after stage 2, went downhill from there.

I had tons of yellow bells on the screen from those two birds and flew directly into one yellow ball enemy thinking it was one of the bells. Meh...
Not my first WTF death, but great game overall.

First submission for the week. Complete suck run though. Almost got to stage 4 but completely screwed up the boss. Used Auto for a little more leniant rank and the possibility of recovering after death. But my first death was right before Stage 3 boss, then I completely screwed things up on it. Not incorporating purple bells, that's too much for me. Did some better chaining than usual on this run, so it might take a bit for me to beat it.

Oh, the spring neck boss guy, yeah, him too. He appears randomly I think - not sure what determines if he shows up or not. Sometimes right after the cookie dough / cake stage. Sometimes right after whatever that boss is after the speed - up stage. I've seen him as early as level 3, and not seen him as far as level 5.

I almost always get Moai as my third stage, I just didn't count it as a stage for my score.

Moai stage boss has a laughable safespot, which I use if I screw up the patterns on it. Of course you then lose the boss kill points, but I'd rather that than lose all my stuff and be screwed for the next stage.
