I have trouble with not getting woundup on this game. Stuff like octagons appearing ON you and the odd point blank bullet OFFing you. I only take on games I actually like, and this one....well I dunno, I'll try to keep an open mind and a calm temperament

Thanks Sapz . I do indeed enjoy the fairly untroubled runs. Still having trouble staying calm on the less successful ones. I have to figure its the killer combo of losing your chain when you lose a life on Advanced mode, and the knowledge that every life lost is 1,000,000 down the pan.
I'll stick with it until I come up with a less mediocre scoar.

Ugh, getting the ALL would have put me at 5th with the 10 mil bonus. Still have some incredibly dumb deaths during full runs killing multiplier (Heartbreaking to die at wrong time anywhere in Area 16 - 19). Nerves messed me up during final boss, gotta keep practicing that one. Ah well, I will make it to the top eventually!

I need to go back down to Normal and replace that horrible old score .

I can finally 1-miss Wrath, but I'm having trouble with Pride that I didn't have before. Probably because I'm afraid to use shield out of fear of dying and having my multiplier halved.

What's the unlock conditions for the monochrome forms? I'm led to believe it's "all A's or higher" but Kitaru tells me he's gotten those forms with B's.

Did you try to speedkill Apocalypse or maximize score for it?
I'm getting back into it but now I'm not sure which of the two is more effective.

I think speedkilling is better overall, but if you can quickly jack up the multiplier right before a kill, then the time penalty is so small that its probably worth doing. My biggest time bonus was ~20 million for reference.

Getting close to my arbitrary goal of 142 million. Believe it or not this run I died twice while at x100 during Pride, the most lucrative sin, barely scraping together an S rank.

That is sweet! Must look and feel silky smooth and responsive at its native framerate of 75.47 Hz. The port is pretty great but you just can't fake a framerate. It blends frames together into 59.94 Hz... I'm not sure how it handles the input but the pessimist in me guesses that it's only polling at 59.94 Hz as well.

Its incedible how smooth it plays on such a tiny device with single AA battery. Downside is sprite flicker at some very intense points, and controls take getting used to (not sure of the input polling rate). Playing JSS and CS on the go makes up for everything.
