Whoa, just had a 4 mil run on Original Hardest. Got up to a 21 multiplier in the first 5 areas. Going to take forever to actually get past area 9 though :/ ( I either die at 5 or 9, no in between). Don't want to imagine how hard this gets later on.

Time trial is really fun and appears to have some kind of rank system going on... no missing to the 5th area will jack it into Hard mode, and I think no missing until Mirror Shield turns it into Hardest - aside from those it appears to fluctuate depending on how often you die, or something like that. I'd assume it also affects the time bonuses, since this run wasn't that much faster than my earlier 28 minute run.

Also of note: there is now a clear of Original Hardest on the leaderboards, complete with a downloadable replay! I highly encourage you guys to give it a watch, it's one of the most exciting replays I've seen, really nail-biting stuff. It's also cool actually seeing the patterns rather than just seeing someone die repeatedly, there's some deliciously evil attacks going on in there. The TLB looks terrifying. It's a really awesome run.
