Just got into this last week and am really enjoying it so far. I was intentionally scoring low because I was trying to manage rank (does it even make a difference?)

1,749,680 - JPN PCB - chempop - Stage 1-7 (7-9)

Just realized you get a 1UP OR 100,000pts depending on which is showing. Would have had a much better run, but I'll break 2 million soon.

I like to use the Red shot for him and after blowing up the claws camp in the TOP corner and it's basically a safe spot. You also get a 100,000/1-UP if you kill him with Red laser 8)

Take out the little cannons that snipe you with the thin green lasers on the right and left.
Than go for the central purple laser.
Once he starts throwing the boomerangs simultaneously you want to be near him in the middle and then swoop downward to the side as they go up the middle of the screen.

Once you get the pattern he is SUPER EASY. Just watch out for the bullet spray in-between boomerang tosses.

I've only made it to stage 9 a few times on 1 credit, some day I'll get the 1-All
