I just wanted to slow him down a bit.
Landlord. Your 121 million score is gone and your 124 million score is pushed down from 8th to 9th. I got 148 million with my broken arm this evening, almost beating my 152 million hi-score.

Heh heh dude, I was just happy at getting on the HS table in the 1st place, B4 it was all Del, Del......

I'll be working on score when I can because all i'm going for is the 1st loop clear on Normal & HaraHara....
I'm kinda hooked on Momo but Ikuo makes life alot easier.

By the way yr HaraHara score has been moved out of the HS table by me.
Dunno if you've gotta replay for HaraHara and I'm hoping not =)

I removed your 124 million from the HS table this afternoon. You need at least 129 million to get your name in the HS table, which is very achieveable

Your Harahara hi-score will stand forever as long as Del doesn't beat it (I doubt it). I despise Harahara mode and it seems there are no people taking it seriously apart from you. I think of Harahara mode as a short cut to the 2nd loop of the normal mode and have no interest in playing it.

Harahara is indeed the second loop, but it's different in one major regard - you earn extends at every 10mil in Harahara. In the second loop you only get the first extend at 10mil, after that you get no score-based extends. Thus Harahara is similar to an 'Ultra mode' in the Mushihimesama games, and quite a good (and fun) challenge for score attack.

I'm quite glad they made it accessible from the start - after all, how many will enter the 2nd loop, let alone do it consistently? 1LCing the first loop with a decent score is incredibly difficult.

Is it a new western record?

A shmup player who gets 166 million cannot be a "dry" player who only knows how to watch and replicate replay, but does not play with the least degree of intelligence and skill.

The Lord of a piece of dry Muchi Muchi Land in Muchi Muchi Casino must be a very dry Muchi Muchi Lord.

Weird things must happen at porky Casino Arcade these days, but indeed, it is a new western record. Congrats, MHK! It's frightening that you don't even need two arms to break scores like this...

Apologies jpj but I must reply when I'm quoted  .

Firstly, Congrats Mr Hong Kong :!:

There's one thing you forgot to list on the quote MHK ->The date it was posted: December 19th 2008

DEL - 116,419,240 - ALL - Rafute

Witnesses:- The Old Mills, Uncle CHI (spadgy and Rupert H left before the credit, masamune just left).
Its now nearly 4 months later  . So its about bloody time you knocked-up something good.
Admittedly I haven't put in more than 5 credits on it since.

Who used the word 'dry'? landlord or Uncle CHI??
Anyway such Godly skill with one arm is surely not dry.

You've played at least 5 credits in front of me.

1st and 2nd credit:
You're using yellow ship and both games ended in Stage 3. You gave me the remaining credit for free, saying "I'm not in the mood". I got 110 million with that credit.
3rd credit:
You're using blue ship after I got 133 million with that ship. You tried to milk Stage 1 boss but did not put your ship on the top of the boss. Game ended in the final stage of stage 4. I got 118 million in front of you and Chi. (I think you still remember I died 2 or 3 times in Stage 5 first mid-boss.)
4th & 5th credit:
Blue ship again. Got 16 million in Stage 1 by milking. 4th credit ended in Stage 4 boss while 5th credit ended in the final stage of Stage 4. Chi reminded you that Stage 3 big planes towards the end of the stage released green smoke, you said "I didn't know that" and got killed by the green smoke.

I guess you returned to the yellow ship since then. You must have played more than 5 credits since you got 116 million.

Landlord's chasing my score very hard and I guess (based on his hi-score posting habit), he's playing on a daily basis (apart from Saturday and possibly Sunday). I arrived at Casino at 4.15pm yesterday and he's playing Muchi. I left Casino and came back 45 minutes later, he's still playing. I left and returned 45 minutes later, he's still playing. 15 minutes later, he's still playing. 30 minutes later, he was about to leave (it was 6.30pm already). I thought my 158 million had gone after his intense 2 hour practice session. It's still at the top of the screen and the hi-score table remained intact. 1 hour later, I got 166 million.

It wouldn't surprise me if he got 200 million in a month's time.

Here is the photo of the so-called new western record, which only lasted one day, thanks to EOJ's Muchi Muchi effort.

Have to find an extra 1.5 million to beat EOJ's 168.2 million.

MHK - 168,703,160 - All - Ikuo

10 million below EOJ's 178 million score. Medal chain broke down in Stage 4 and Stage 5. No milking in Stage 4 boss (despite finishing the stage with 4 spare lives). Can't see I can get past 170 million for the rest of my life.

Image

You're the person who referred me as "dry" on neoempire.com.

http://neoempire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4505&page=5
(Post 65)

"mr mhk's only watches & tries to replicate replays....he's so dry."

What exasperated me was that you improved your score by 20 million few days after watching me getting 143 million and at the same time described me as "dry" although I contributed at least 3 or 4 million to the increase in your score.

If you did learn something from a shmup player (in this case, the milking before Stage 5 boss etc) and as a consequence your score improved, you were not entitled to describe the player as "dry".

By the way, I was flattered by your likening me to Miss Marple and Jessica Fletcher, whom you said you wanted to slap. What was slightly disturbing was that you didn't compare me to Inspector Morse, who was a male.

Sorry jpj but I feel I should sort this out now, as best I can to save you getting the auto e-mails for all these "High Score Thread/blogs"

In response to MHK views about what was said on NeoEmpire and i'll quote myself:-
"Proper closet battyman talk posted on shumps site dude~step by step accounts, witnesses, times and places, a bandaged arm, blowing ones own horn etc...
To much CSI or Miss Marple....
Damn someone's gonna slap that Jessica Fletcher beeea'itch"

~What you posted WAS stalking sh*t dude.
"step by step accounts, witnesses, times and places, a bandaged arm, blowing ones own horn etc..."

It's like some cheesy detective series.
I had to laugh about that & post a piss take cause that sh*t was fu*k'ed up!

MHK You seem to have something hard about the word "dry"?
Would you like to know that was quoted by next manz?
Would that make you sleep better?
Read post 65 on Neo again dude! Get Your detective hat on & get over it.

& as for my progress in the game...
I'm not a shump'er, Every1 @ casino knows I play Fighting Games(tekken2/3 etc) (all Street Fighters bar SF3 to a high level) (KOF 94-98 then 2001-2002) etc.
I've owned 5 shump titles in my life & played on 3 in the arcade regularly Strikers(mill's fault), Ketsui(Del's fault) & Muchi (Del & Chi)
Yes I do play Muchi Harahara (which you dispise) for the reason that Del set all the normal scores so high 4 months back
& I found it imposible to get on the board(hell I didn't know about this site) which is off putting cause at that time I couldn't record my lame scores....except on hara!
when del & chi said try normal 2 month later I found I could score & have been putting up scores just like on harahara
& I'll keep doing that till the game gets off'd.

So forgive me for playing the game while it's still around dude,
I guess that bugs you having my measly "Beat em' up players" score on the table at any time(cause I removed your hara score? can't be cause you despise it!)
my latest score was done on friday in front of Del & Chi & i know that I dropped 20 mil of easy stuff (I wasn't going for it) & the bonus x amount of times but I'm working on it & more parts all the time!
Just like you! & next Manz!

& if you must know about my playing habits of Muchi it's mainly due to Ketsui being intro'd to me late & I feel I've got alot of unfinished business with that game,
at casino I was the only person trying out things like getting the 5 bonus on all parts of the 2nd level mid boss
"both his parts together"(my way) but the game got off'd & I couldn't finish what I started! Well I've finished Muchi with Ikuo now for Momo.

I got the nickname LandLord cause I was always at Casino back in the dayz, now i'm playing there again between my shifts (killing time).
LandLord nickname has nothing to do with God ok?

& don't post detailed movements of a player on a public forum, because his wife might see this & yap yap yap! (& I WILL SLAP ANY MAN FOR THAT!)

anything else F**K off!...... (I just finished a long sat shift(& the git's didn't even tip  )

Again "Sorry JPJ" the only post from me now on will be HS
any beef PM me! or see para above.
p.s. that credit by credit stuff was jokes  "BattyMan"
