On a related note, is there some kind of feasible way to dodge that part without bombing? SWY does it in his counterstop run. The fluid/effortless way in which he moves through makes it seem like the pattern can be memorized, but I haven't really looked into it.
Yeah me neither, I remember trying for a little while and thinking "whatever let's just bomb this part", I think it looked kind of hard and I didn't want to reduce the probability of a successful run.

A feasible way to dodge the carts at the end of stage 6?
If so, with a bit of practice it's quite easy to copy the pattern SWY uses, because the carts do always follow the same pattern.
There's a slight variation on SWY's pattern that might be easier, but because I haven't played this game since 2008, I can't remember well enough to explain.
Also there's a more difficult pattern that allows for one extra cart to be destroyed, compared to SWY's.

The section after this isn't completely random either, and it's possible to create a pattern for this part.
Although on SWY's replay, he doesn't seem to follow a strict pattern here..

Azinth - 2409,4198 - ALL - Kosame

First four stages were decent aside from missing the stage 3 food bonus, but stage 5 was terrible, and I lost my chain on the boss. Luckily I pulled my shit together enough on stage 6 to get a decent endgame bonus. This is my second time 1ccing this game.

Sapz - 567,2717 - 6 - 6,394 - Kosame

First time reaching the final boss, and reached the final attack on my last life. That didn't go well. :(

Sapz - 731,2514 - 6 - 6,227 - Kosame

Game over on the last boss again, but the chaining was better this time.

Sapz - 694,9100 - ALL - ??? - Kosame

I'd like to overwrite my previous score with this one. Sorry about the lack of chain value, not sure how to check it in the port. Pleased with this 1cc, though... final attack was a bitch to dodge. @_@

I am. :P I got a whole bunch of scores around the 6m-7m mark, but only one ALL so far, so I'll stick with that one. I wouldn't change it if it were 10m originally or something, but it's not a big difference as it stands.

...On second thoughts, here's a better score.

Sapz - 10,975,796 - 5 - ??? - Kosame

Got something in the region of 12-14k on the chain before dropping it near the end of Stage 5, and then completely messed up the boss. A shame, that could have been 13m at least without even 1ccing if I'd made it to the final stage. :(

Also, should we submit Blue Arrange scores here?
