Well - I hope to squeeze in a few credits on Sunday before potentially opening my home to Rupert H and Skykid, so maybe I can reclaim my high score!

Anyway, enough nattering. I'll leave this place to worthy score submissions again!

There's a bug with the port, where if you change the difficulty (normal->hard+1), and the mode (saturn->arcade), and the display (yoko->tate), then exit, the difficulty reverts to normal. I found out the hard way too..shitty huh!
I used to have issues with the settings on this game too, but then I changed the "record" setting in the options to "on" and now it saves everything. A strange way to implement a save feature for sure.

Ruldra must have the flu because I think I'm in first.

Enhasa - SDA A-Team - 4,008,300 - 7 - MAME

I'm shooting for 5mil. I learned all the stages, so if everything goes flawlessly (which of course it won't) my score could be 5.5-6mil. I'm actually curious to see what sikraiken's score will be this week.

Good stuff Enhasa! Unlike you I haven't learnt the stages.

DEL - 3,171,400 - Last Boss - namakoteam - MAME

I didn't take the Last Boss's first form down fast enough (for some reason :? ) so it started with the homing laser shit.

I haven't even played once this week, I've had too much going on. I'm pretty sure the same goes for the rest of my team. I'll probably play a couple hours tomorrow morning.

I think you guys should just stick to playing, as you're all pretty bad at lying.

I wasn't going to post my score until Sunday, but since you asked...

Ruldra - Pelé Shooting Team - 5,439,100 - ALL - MAME

I'm done for the week, so go ahead and try to break that. Gotta admit your score is pretty good for stage 7, though. With some extra effort, it's very possible to beat me.

There's a bug with the port
Oh great. :?

Until further notice, by score on the correct difficulty then will be:
ED-057 - Team Oldschoolers - 2,097,500 - 5 - SATURN

And that proves what, exactly?

I still don't believe you, lol. ^_-

Well done Ruldra on improving your personal best, excellent score.
CHI wrote:Edit: any difference playing Gunlock or Ray Force on MAME?
Not really - you could be playing Rayforce, Gunlock, Galactic Attack or Layer Section, and it'd make no difference, its the same game with different names.

I'm getting a little frustrated at all the chain screwups and deaths in random areas of any stage...

Also, is it really that hard to put in the correct order for score posts DEL?

With a couple avoidable deaths on stage 3, and 4 being so much easier to score on, this should go up.

Embarrassed by this score but I don't enjoy playing this game and I probably won't have any time to improve on this at all so at least I'll grab our team a few points.
