I bet it's between ~430 and ~480 then. Let's see if I'm right. :)

I'd actually be extremely surprised if it's over 400mill. That would be absolutely outstanding!

End bonuses count for a lot of points... i can easily see his run being over 400 mill and still being unacceptable to him.

I don't think he would have too many lives left ;) and there is no other end bonus.

Prome got 314 millions the previous time around, so if he had at least one life left in this run with roughly the same 1-1—2-6 performance, it would be over 400 millions. Though I'm more than sure he had a better run until Hibachi than his current posted #1.

Er, what the hell.

I don't play this game for months, and suddenly have an awesome run. Probably because I was rusty and playing for survival as opposed to score. Also I forgot how to chain most of the levels, so there were no daring maneuvers going on.

Vorpal - 110,473,120 - C-S - 2-3 - 406 Hit

Old score, I didn't post it in the previous high score thread because I didn't record an INP:

Since you added MMT's score to the scoreboard even though he didn't post an INP, I assumed this rule was gone. I guess I was wrong.
I cannot record a wolfmame INP with my current OS, so I was wondering, is a non-wolfmame INP enough as a proof?

i dont limit the inp-art to wolfmame.
So please add yours, i asked them for their proof, too, so dont feel upset about it, your score is gonna get updated, now, too.

EDIT: also great to see a B-Ship score, finally!!!

Actually I don't have an INP for this run anyway, but I'll record one on my next run. And yeah, helicopters are awesome :) .

Ah I didn't record that run (was just playing first time in months for kicks, didn't expect to do well hehe).

Will work on re-attempting that score w/ recording, suppose take my score down in the meantime.

Would someone kill me with a rocket lawnchair if I said I don't know what is an inp? Because I don't .__.

And I've been using mame for a long time .__.

It's the filetype you get when you record a replay in versions of MAME that support such a function, like WolfMAME. .inp is an "input" file, which records player inputs. Makes for a much MUCH smoother recording process, and smaller file than an .avi or .mpg or whatever.

I'm still waiting till I can at least no-bomb to loop 2 semi-consistantly before I start bothering with .inps. Which at the rate I'm going, could still be a while =/

to keep rules alive, i removed Vorpal's and MMT's score from the list, until a proof of their score has been given.

I dont accept a confirmation from other players like: "I've seen him playing, he really is that good"

Oh, so that's it. Thanks for explaining, Arvandor.

My version of MAME doesn't seem to have this function available though... seems like I'll have to look for a newer one.
