Hey DEL, any tips on the 1M bonus per level? It seems like the only way to get it is to never hit the shot button during the level.

Unless namokoteam spills the beans on this stupid special bonus (stage 3 is impossible to not shoot through and not die), i refuse to play this game seriously. Worst selection in stg07 history if this bonus does not ever make sense.

Well yeah I know you use button 2 but do you have to gain a special powerup first to use it? It doesnt seem to be equivalent to the 3 bombs in other shmups, if you know what i mean.

There are two types of orbs you can pick up:

The right orb gets used first.

Blue/orange = slowdown
red = screen clearing bomb

They can be shot as shields but of course you lose the orb.

On one of the babelfished tips sheets found in google they suggested a suicide on the last part of the boss to reset the shot counter.

I'd be absolutely fucking giddy if it was that easy.

I just stopped playing after that as a joke, because it is a joke unless we figure out an easier way to get the 1,000,000 "special bonus"

Is it supposed to run this fast? I only played a bit yesterday and didn't get past the stage 3 boss yet. This game is, um, well ...special. It seems to turn into memorization hell if you want to get any half-decent scores.

Why did everyone vote for this game again?

Btw, I might not be able to play a whole lot this week, as I'd rather spend some quality time with the girlfriend before she goes on a lengthy business trip next week. I would play at the weekend, but I have to visit my parents. (My dad is seriously ill.)

Its really a very simple game. I'd never played the 'Special' version before friday evening when Icarus sent me the Rom. I discovered the Special Bonus by accident and figured it out on the next credit.
My 17mil score is 3mil shy of the mark (mistakes), so by the time I get back on friday I expect you guys to have done a lot of damage
