So close to 3 millions.

I noticed something funny. I first wrote down my score while the continue counter was running out. However, while entering my initials, I noticed that my score on the highscore table was a bit higher than what had been shown on the top left of the screen previously. Exactly 444 points had been added. Where did those come from I wonder? Any explanation?

No-missed to the st6 boss, and fumbled, losing both spare Extends in one go. Dragged myself to stage7 without a bomb for the first planeshifting bomber (that thing exploding in the screenshot). A nice run ended right there, by an exploding mine.

I can do better. Replay recorded.
