You should watch a superplay. The hands are basically a non-dodging pattern... there's a secret to them.

Yeah, I know you're supposed to loop around, but you need bombs to do that, and I screw up so much earlier that I have trouble making it to handslol with enough bomb energy.

Keep at it. I got that horrible woman's health down to like 3 pixels probably 10+ times before I managed the clear.

6'591'680, JB 5th, Stage 5

Sloooooooooooowly getting there, slowly getting there. I finally manage to get to stage 4 on 1 credit on a regular basis, usually even 1 lifing up to the beginning of stage 4... But from then on, it's usually downhill... *lol*

I gave up after hitting the Stage 5 boss to be honest. Now I'm making my own games and helping people out with theirs. :P

Here's my first try at a high score submission:

The Eidolon - 8,973,370 - 5-2 - JB the 5th

First time I've cleared 8M on it. Made it to the statue head.

Are you me? I seriously got nearly the same score with Yusuke, and died at the statue head last night. It was my first time getting past 8M too. We even live in the same state. That's freaky .

But, I'm gonna wait till I get a clear to post my score. How much are clear bonuses?

Apologies for the double post I actually just got a score which I am much happier with. I made it to the Stage 4 Boss but just died at the end was so close to beating it aswell just a fraction of life left.

Well, you can go ahead and throw my name up near the top of that list. Alas, It seems now that all my efforts were worthwhile. Finally ready to move away from this game and turn my focus to another shmup; (probably either Battle Garegga, Mars Matrix, Progear, or Gradius V)

So sad... the Room where I have my Blast City with EspRaDe has to go... Our KungFu-School cannot afford the rent anymore...

So great! The missus agreed to let me store the Blast in our (not damp) Basement (we rent...)...

And as we have a power-socket down there... I'll finally get more practice and play time with EspRaDe!!! Yay! This means, I can finally contribute more to this thread! Yaysers!

Ahhhhhhh, third sitting, so close! One more life and I could have lasered her to death...
Banshee, not every run is a good one, maybe 1/4 of the time I do well.

Still very neat tho chempop.

I did a run of this the other day and made it to the tanks but didn't beat my personal best which I've already submitted here. Will keep at it though, I'm amazed that 9 mil is possible within the first 4 stages by the real pros to be honest.

Thanks, yeah I'm not milking at all. In fact I figured out the scoring mechanics after making it to Mrs. Gara a handful of times. I've broke 10 mil now, but still no 1CC.

This game is a lot easier when you know what you're doing.

I was scoring relatively well, but getting wasted at the last boss.

I learned from ookitarepanda that if I charge the bomb before letting it go it creates a powerful blast.

The last boss REALLY charges the bomb quickly, so I made quick work of her.

This was one of the best runs I've ever had in a shooter.

Congrats dude! You using player 2 exploit? You boss milking? I am regularly reaching the last. OSS with about 10 mil, I keep screwing up from nerves and not being familiar with her patterns.

Tell me about this player 2 exploit?

EDIT: I found it.

No, I didn't use that exploit, but I'm gonna mess with it tonight.

Thanks man.

Nailed it! No missed all the way till Mrs Gara! Cleared with 3 life remaining. :D
I spent about 15 credits just dicking around Garas last pattern trying to make sense of it, when eventually I figured out the trick. Sadly this was not a great scoring run in the first 5 stages, I know I can break 20mil, but for now this will do.
