Actually, I agree 100%. Almost spoiled it for me, but in the end I still love it.

Any tips on the missile attack from the first boss on stage 5?

Final score from me, I lost all the will to a 1CC.

Dragoforce - 3,527,460 - 5 - Mame

The top score is from a savestate, hence the "AAA"

I don't know if you're okay with the psp version. If you are, I'll make a go at a decent score. I usually just credit feed though for fun before bed.

I am befuddled by the difficulty of this game. I want the bells but they always get me killed. It's a viscious cycle. My best score barely places here.

It takes some getting used to. There is a bit of luck invovled with getting the bells I'm afraid. You are using the third option I hope? It is by far the best both for collecting bells as well surviving some of the later passages in the game.

I'm sure everyone already knows this, but just in case, bells switch every five hits (on any bell) with a set order. No luck to it really.

prof ganson: You can put up my score from the tourney 3 years ago, heh. Maybe it'll be some motivation for me to improve it. Thanks.

The jury is still out on that ;) There are a few parts in the game where the bells pile up on you, the beginning of stage 1 and 2 for example. Getting all the bells at those passages is a lot about skill, but I dare say that there is luck invovled with getting the correct colour of the correct bells. Say 90% skill and 10% luck?

The scores resets when you continue. I actually did a practice round just to check and I got 90 at the end as well for some reason.

Good thing that you keep your eyes peeled though :)

Thanks guys :)

I wish more people would play this. It feels very awkward at first, but once you start to understand the hitbox and juggling it becomes awesome.
