Don't really have any "worthy" scores to throw up right now (my last run ended at the boss of level 4 and I only had 2.5 million I think, prolly would've beat him too had I not had some horribly stupid deaths at the level 3 boss), but I will definitely be doing some strategy guide reading this weekend so I can figure out the "correct" way to play the game. :D
welcome to battle garegga jp!

also, hows the collection coming along?

jp - 3,579,400 - Miyamoto - Stage 5

Not too shabby for my second day of playing the game. :)

I got killed by the return of the level 1 boss in Stage 5 though. Gah, that was just nuts.

RFP - 2,788,180 - Stage 3 - Golden Bat

Dropped medals 1/2 way through St2, however made it up quickly before the boss, had 10k medals early on 3, but got careless near 1/2 way.

That's embarassing but I never got any new mails about this thread and I completely forgot. I'll do some routine checks on all other hi-score threads, but please let me know if you spot other oddities in updates :?
Chomsky, Buckminster Fuller, Yunus and Glass would have played Battle Garegga, for sure.

DMC - 8.158.250 - stage 6 - Iron Mackerel

Well, I have come to a point where I need to reconsider how I manage the rank. In the the 5th stage I may be too much powered up (almost full) and too many extends (about two) for my own best? Well, something to contemplate...

Aw, no fair allowing a Japanese pro on here! The top Western Garegga player honor was within my grasp! MINE I tell you! ;)

That is one heckuva impressive Chitta score though (as if the rest aren't).

DMC - 9.098.880 - stage 7 - Iron Mackerel

As I began to think that Black Heart is a piece of cake, the second version of it just showed up and taught me a lesson by showing no mercy at all.

Impressive scores there, ket. It must be very different gaming with all those different characters.

DMC - A.840.290 - ALL - Iron Mackerel
The end

BlackHeart & BlackHeart2, those are MY bitches now!

Yeah, besides the bird part it was a very good round from beginning to the end. I felt that I had good control over the rank and the medal chain didn't broke until the end of the sixth stage. At the 7th stage though, I have to say I was way very lucky. Both with the timing of the extend and the weapons the last boss used. That purple laser was my saviour...
To have beaten Battle Garegga, that will be something to tell the future grandchildren! :D
