TRASHFALL FINAL (PART III)
WE'RE INSIDE THE DUMP.
THAT MIGHT BE THE GREATEST SENTENCE ANYONE'S EVER SAID.

BRACE YOURSELF!
IT IS NOT TIME TO RELAX YET

What's worse than playing 1 Breakthrough Gaming title on Sunday?, The answer: Two of them.
So let's start this "Double Feature" of Jesus insulting trash, and this time is Breakthrough Gaming returning to the shmup scene again with Breakthrough Gaming's Space 2 (Challenge Mode Edition).

Trash that looks SO familiar...

If you've played the original Breakthrough Gaming's Space 2 and then you play this game, you'll realize that nothing has changed on the gameplay and the "Lesson" in attract mode. It's the same, god-damned game with the same crappy straight shot, same "Bullet Bill" ripoff and asteroids as enemies, same crappy background and the same "One life, No Continues" rule. I mean, if you're planning to create a "Challenge" edition of a game, you should AT LEAST add new features to make a difference and improve the overall gameplay, that's what Thunder Force V and Triggerheart Exelica did when they've got their PlayStation ports as Thunder Force V Perfect System and Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced. But in Space 2 Challenge Mode Edition is just a lame repackaging of the same game which only serves for one thing: Get thropies for a buck, and the conditions are the same as in the original: Hit 1,000 points and clear 7 levels. Once you're done, the Platinum is yours.
That's all for the gameplay aspects of this game, 'cos there's nothing more to talk about it.

Graphics and sound, the same. Nothing has changed in this game. The same crappy random dots as stars in the background. Your ship is a lifeless white block that looks like and attempt to make the Atari 2600 version of the DeLorean from Back To The Future. Everything about this game is a total failure and doesn't deserve a complete analysis.

No one's happy this time, Nina.
Not even Shizuka.

Breakthrough Gaming's Space 2 (Challenge Mode Edition) is an abomination that insults the shmup genre and has no reason to exist since it lacks of features to justify its "Challenge Mode" nature.
Even if the game costs a buck, it's one dollar thrown to the garbage and THAT should be considered a blasphemy.
