I never noticed FUK on your cabinet at home though. I guess you play well all the time then?
When I want to crush the game I'm playing, thats when FUK ensues.

hah. ive been meaning to make this exact thread for the past few months. too lazy to do it, glad someone else made the effort. :)

MRT

my initials. been using that for as long as i can remember. easy to input unless the space defaults back to the beginning of the alphabet after selecting a character.

at home when i get a crappy score or do very poorly, ill adjust the initials appropriately. but when i get a score that im reasonably happy with ill use MRT every time. habit.

765: This is a nod to Namco and done also since it takes about 2 seconds to slap in there.

X68: Short for X68000.

ZTT: For Zuntata's sake.

___: A score that I do not deem worthy of any initials gets a big blank left beside it. Sometimes FUK is substituted if I'm truly ashamed.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

for awhile I went by FOX, but then I decided GEO made more sense and was a bit more identifiable for obvious reasons.

Mine are fairly well-known around here now.
ICR.
<-- Short form of my screenname.
Sorry BM, I only get three letters to use in name entry on most games, so I can't use ICKY. ^_-

LUN, because of my nick (that is a dialect form of my surname, actually). CPF, as suggested by DEL, is fine too. It means Classless Pig Farmer, great concept indeed

I used to go FOX, for a number of reasons. After a while I just started using my initials, RWM.

I'll either enter my real initials DMD or PIR, which stands for my handle 'Pirate'. Although interesting enough, it also stands for Parachute Infantry Regiment. As coincedence I am a bit of a Band of Brothers/WWII nut.

You've gotta start playing more Shiki then. ;) (That series does allow 4 spaces, right? I think it does...)

In the Space Megaforce instruction booklet the player's ship is designated ED-057. It is also "fitted with various super weapons," just so you know. Although I posted some screenshots for STGT having put 'ED' in the space for initials, I will avoid this in the future, not wanting to imply anything about erectile dysfunction :? My initials are TJE.

DEL

Post by DEL »

Put up DEL for over 20 years now in the arcades.

My nickname, both on and off games.
Like the Japanese, London arcade shoot'em up players have always used their 3 character scoring initials (-M-, KAC, ARC, ARM, UBN, EGR). Unlike the Japanese, we have less skill

DED for a bad run.

DDD for a worse run.

AAA for U know wot.

Expletives like FUK, PUS for games that wind me up.
SEX obviously, to see what it brings up.

I use MRK - a condensed version of my first name, Mark. With no middle name, this is the best I've got without having to leave an empty space.

Kind of feel like changing it sometimes, but don't know what to. Maybe GDR or something.

Or GLC :p

KID or DAK

I never get any highscores though. And if I do they are always quickly beaten.

also used to use TSH for Timken Senior High when me and a buddy would get like 20 bucks in tokens and just wail on arcade machines back in the day....

T2B if numbers are available, TTB if they're not. From the nickname of course.
