Dwelling of Duels is a monthly video game cover competition run by a couple guys from the Minibosses message board. Each month a theme or game series is chosen, and contestents arrange and record their covers. Past themes have been Mega Man, Double Dragon, Final Fantasy, Metroid, Military Games, Fighting Games etc. Regulars of the Minibosses board, who usually make up a large percentage of the entries, then review and vote on the songs.
This months theme is scrolling shooters, so I thought a few of you might enjoy some of the entries. The DoD site is out of bandwidth for now, so the enties are hosted at http://dod.vgmix.com/current.html
Until judging is complete, artist names stay anonymous, but they should be posted at the end of the month.
