Supernova: Shmups meet chess...........

From the description, this game sounds cool:

I tried to run the demo, but get a Winblows error for no reason. Anyone willing to try this out and comment on if it's as cool as it sounds or just crap?
I'd like some feedback as to what this game is about.....

interesting, sounds like Archon vs. Star Control.

it's more on the archon side, but not really very fun and plays more like subspace/continuum than a straight shmup.

might just be the demo, but problems include:

imbalance between sides
no instructions
fights that are more or less a question of stats not skill
collision between ships deals extremely large amounts of damage compared to weapons which do very little.

its a nice try though
