You rather should remove some of them. Alien Breed, Cabal, Chaos Engine, Desert Strike and lots of others in your list are not shmups (unless you interpret the term very loosely).

The only one missing I can think of offhand would be Lethal Xcess. But I'm sure there are more.

Btw, we already have a quite comprehensive list of Amiga shmups in the Xenocide Files at shmups.com. Why not have a look at it?

Heh, checking the list here revealed 46 games i didnt have installed.
And about 20 - 40 that i cant even seem to find.
Is the games on that list confirmed to be amiga games ?
Or could some of them be "from memory" ?

No, I'm sure they're all confirmed.

It's quite possible that some of them never made it to any download sites, though.

Nah, none of those games are that hard to find on intenet. It's just that Amiga games, in general, aren't as easy to find as say, SNES roms.

But they are all in Tosec.

Like Herr Schatten said, lots of games in this list aren't shmups. I could list them, but I am in a bit of hurry now :)

There are also lots of stuff missing. Banshee, X-Out, Blastar, Frenetic, Overkill, Sidewinder, Sidewinder 2, Alert, Apache Flight, Gemini Wing, HATE, The Hunt for Red October, P-47 Thunderbolt, Tubular Worlds .... and still a lot more.

The Amiga has LOTS of obscure shmups which were all released commercially, not to mention all the Freeware shmups.

A good place to start seraching is in HOL : hol.abime.net

Darius was also released for the Amiga. Zeewolf and Zeewolf 2 would probably be classified as borderliners, you might want to take a look at those games.

Look also here. It may not be the most complete, but it's the best analysis of the whole picture:

and another thing you'll appreciate is that it takes the "shmup" definition the correct way

Great project Corpsicle!

If you haven't already done so, check out the Amiga Hall of Light:

http://hol.abime.net/

Its the most extensive Amiga game database I've ever seen.

BTW, I noticed that you included one of the Alien Breed games, I thought those were borderliners?

Well, that list is still incomplete, but a whole much better :)

The problem with HOL is that they don't have a "shmup" gente, just a "shoot'em up", and then include borderlines on this, like Alien Breed.

Oh, and Raiden was never released on Amiga. It was planned, there's a demo of it around, but it wasn't published.
