Just checked a video of this game and holy crap how did this shit got a PS1 release? This looks worse than the games my high-school students made when I was a teacher.

I have no idea. No idea. The ship is supposed to be a water... thingy, so it has this momentum to it that's really weird but at least you can jump over most of the obstacles. If you pick up a few powerups (by killing the enemies going in circles) you can 1CC it first try. It's so bad it's funny. A community I was part of many years ago thought it was so hilariously bad we started talking about it as if it was the superior shmup. "All hail the Hydra!" and so on. I still got my copy and I'm holding on to it, I'm sure it'll be a sought after gem in the future. It is after all a great game. The best game.

Do it! If you're real lucky you might even get stuck on one of the bosses, some are known to glitch out and stop taking damage.

Hell yeah, that's my favourite type of boss.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it before, but I actually love super shitty games like CrazyBus, Deep Blue, Action 52, Sonic R, and all of those super terrible 80s/90s bootlegs, so this sounds amazing.

I love Sonic R. I love it because I know how to play it, but it's definitely complete trash of the best kind. It is a must-play Saturn game and everyone needs to play it. It is absolutely a whole lot better when you know how to play it for sure.
