To bid on Japanese auctions, is there an alternative to Buyee ?

Shopping Mall Japan was great but sadly disappeared.

For example, is there still a proxy service that accepts special shipping instructions, as to declare a lower value of the item ?

Which proxy do you recommend ?

Rinkya is expensive but allows you to declare the value on the parcel (at your own risks) when you consolidate/ship your stuff.
FromJapan is cheaper but doesn’t let you tinker with parcel value, it just sums the value of what you’ve consolidated. I don’t try to evade the import taxes anymore anyway, but they are reasonable where I currently live.

I used Rinkya for years, then switched to FromJapan.
Both have very good service in my experience.

I like DEJAPAN.com it's a small fee, the storage fee is only 100 yen a day (after 45 days I think) and when you get it mailed, they allow shipping by boat, which is very inexpensive!
