Is there a way to reduce the lag in Nostradamus (MAME)?

Yeah. Go into sliders and overclock the CPU.

What other games benefit from this treatment? ESP Ra.De. is much more fun without slowdown (especially Garra) and every pattern is manageable. Batrider at full speed is like a totally different game. And then there's everyone's favorite, Hotdog Storm.
