help finding a name to a shmup

Hi, I used to play an arcade game in the early 1990s, I only remember a puzzled tiny details but coudnt find it, here is what I remember in points:

+ A side scrolling shooter
+ the plane is slim
+ you can speed up horizontally
+ you can also crash into the caves edges
+ in the underground caves rings (fire) is coming up and down , I used to speed them up millimetres from crashing along the ground and break just before obstacles
+ I never passed a wall like boss or something else and never lasted to remember it clearly

Thunderforce 3 has a fire cave level with fireballs/lava moving up and down,
Darius 2 has fire lava levels,
Gradius 2 and 3 have cave/fire/rock formations and you can speed up...

This will be a hard search because every 90's shooter has fire/cave and speed ups haha.

If you can remember how the speed up was triggered that might help narrow it down.

1.Cycle through speeds any time by pressing a button like Thunder Force

2. Instant speed up by grabbing a floating item like Salamander

Or 3. Selectable power ups on a menu like Gradius

Thanks, but the speed up was just after reaching a pixel forward, the plane can not move forward anymore after that pixel, tha side scrolling do,
It s not one of the known classics that I found on youtube like gradius or thunder ac, the plane is like the one in aerial assault, the caves have like guns on both the ground and the sealing firing 3 or 4 golden metalic rings, and maybe it fired a huge blue beam of thunder...I not sure of that last memory cause I never saw it on a horizontal shooter in my quest

More specifics will be required to narrow down. Anything unique you can remember about shot types, enemies, etc, would assist. Do you know what the graphics looked like? Were they older, Defender-style wireframe? Were they more detailed? Do you have any photos of games that looked similar to what you're searching for?

Another option is hunting through something like MameDB for game names and see if any ring a bell.
