Yep, I managed to get to the last boss tonight!
Well, I'm sure its the last boss, although, I'm not sure how many "forms" he may have.
Anyway, it was the "devil head" with a massive horn at the end of stage 8.
I kinda struggled a bit to get there,(not too much, I was nervous though) but I made it. Next time I get there, it would help to be fully powered up I'm sure!

Anyway, it felt great to make progress on a shmup that I've been playing on and off for at least two years or more.
It seems thats what it takes for me...A few years of "casual" play, with a couple of "strict efforts" throughout the year.

I know I can do it, its just a matter of time now.

BTW: I'm playing Kawa-X style on XBOX with the settings set to AES (home Japanses console) Diff level 3.
When I complete it like this, I will try for the MVS level 4.
