I wanna start trying to get into the community and seeing what is up with this genre, but I don't really know of any people who cover it.

Are there any big Discord/other social platforms that cover this sort of stuff? Thanks!

So you're a moderator on the biggest shmup discord and still want to know which ones exist? Well..

- There's Paul's shmup discord. You know it, because you're a moderator on it
- There's Mark's discord https://discord.gg/8HxRxuR
- There's a recent Gradius discord: https://discord.gg/FffnWt5
- There's another Gradius discord of which I don't know the invite address
- There's Gus' very own discord
- there's the Shooting Exchange (a.k.a Sexchange). The public invite is dead, you need someone to invite you
- There's Cee's discord. You'll probably need someone on the inside to invite you, as I'm not on it, I don't know the details
