There is one I'm looking for that I can find for the life of me.

It was a small window where you simply grazed 1 pixel enemy shots to fire back at some boss.
Each level had a different series of bullet emitters. I think everything was just gradient circles.
It was mouse controlled.

It was like fuze...su... or something...

That'd be the one.
Ah, well supports this thread I guess.
All links appear to be dead.

F**k the Web. :x

I was able to pull something off archive.org. I don't have Java so didn't test it, but its' in the Staging folder. Give it a shot.

Unfortunately that's just the Java Web Start launcher, and the JAR it points to doesn't seem to be archived.

Been playing a TON of free PC shoot-em-ups the last while, helped by this thread. Some games I couldn't run acceptably (eXceed, Radio Zonde), others I found too hard (Cho Ren Sha, Kaikan). I'm left with only a few newb-friendly, Windows 10 compatible games to play (so far):

Blue Wish Resurrection Plus.
Eden's Aegis. Obviously x_x's masterpiece, I find it odd that BWR+ generally seems more favoured. For me, it's just the constant use of a fourth button that limits my play.
Of Kenta Cho's games, only rRootage really grabbed me. Starts easy, but the later stages are a proper challenge (only one person has completed a single mode on the highscore thread).
Genetos is pretty fun, but it's gimmick works against it for repeat play.
Same could be said for Warning Forever.
Suwako's Jumping Shooting Game is an isometric-3d danmaku that's well-executed, but ultimately too awkward to be more than a novelty.
Zillion Beatz and EX are both arcade-style, with a selection of difficulties. No practice tools, however.
Magic Broom Shooting! An unfinished beta, but has all the nice features. I'm hooked big time, just has more charm than any shooter I've ever seen, bar none by miles.

The trick with Eden's Aegis, generally, is you don't want to be shooting unless an enemy is marked blue with your special shot. I don't know if that helps you with the idea of "limiting play" or not.

Your webarchive-fu is weak, young padawan: http://web.archive.org/web/201505300922 ... uzetsu.jar

Still, couldn't get it to load, says the jar is corrupted. Maybe it's just my Java installation which is fucked up.

Alright, fixed lots of things around and got it working.

You can play it straight in your browser here: http://theclassicgamer.net/fuzetsu/

Or you can download it here: http://theclassicgamer.net/fuzetsu/fuzetsu.jnlp

Hopefully the author won't mind this, otherwise I'll be happy to remove it (as long as he's gonna get it up and working again).

Hey, nicely done. Thanks for taking another stab at bringing that back from the dead.

Thanks, but I just meant that my hand cramps up. The use of special is so frequent, that I generally just hold the button down (maybe I'll try some remapping software: I should go back to it and get the Original 1CC).

I just gathered a bunch of shmups I had. Should all be free/shareware (and work on Windows 2000). I don't like google drive very much so someone else can re-upload there if they feel like it.http://www.hyakushiki.net/shmup/filename

BTW, there's some nice uploads in this batch posted earlier. If some kind soul could add them to the Google Drive, it's good to have backups. Some might be there already.

I'll at least remove some of the tedium by posting the individual links: (ED-057, if you see this, maybe copy & paste into your original post)

Spoiler: show

Glad to see this effort is producing results - I just checked, and all the stuff I thought I had has already been uploaded!

There's a staging folder on that google drive where everyone can upload their stuff. It'll get checked and then moved onto the main google drive folder.
