I'm building a list of arcade shmups that can be emulated on a Windows PC, but require something other than MAME to run. What am I missing?

Gunspike could be added to the Naomi list. Last time I checked, Radiant Silvergun still runs like garbage in MAME.

Define "garbage". ST-V stuff runs fine, especially after that big update they did recently. Which, unfortunately, also makes it impossible to actually run the games on things besides top-of-the-line hardware...

It was always choppy on multiple MAME builds on any standard PC I tried it on, always had to resort to SSF. If it's just not optimized to work with average hardware that would explain it.
