M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
I'd just like any of them to get a release over here....
XBL & Switch: mjparker77 / PSN: BellyFullOfHell
Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
A couple of the M2 Shot triggers line have released in NA. I think more are supposed to be coming they're just really slow in releasing them here.
Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
It's also pretty easy to buy them on PSN (digitally) or PlayAsia/Amazon (physical, if it ends up existing). You really don't need to know Japanese to read the menus. 20 minutes of experimentation and you're set for life. Usually someone here will post a translation too.

Argh, of all the games they could've picked up... Damn, where's my Batrider and Battle Bakraid?
Also, I think all of their efforts are just wasted without PC versions.

They have Armed Police Batrider running but not as well as they would like. We can hope though.Magma Dragoon wrote:Argh, of all the games they could've picked up... Damn, where's my Batrider and Battle Bakraid?

A Hardcore gamers reaction to the Lack of Kinect games. Apparently i could of played Dodonpachi with it if i beat a entirely in Japanese Visional Novel piece of shit game called Instant Brain

Fingers crossed, wish I still had the boardTokyo-J wrote:

Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Best news all week, esp rade is deff one of my all time favs.
Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Based on that Battle Garegga event video, they won't probably announce that anytime soon. So many different builds of that port before they got it anywhere near close to the correct speed. Still I'm excited to see this on a console!Tokyo-J wrote:They have Armed Police Batrider running but not as well as they would like. Didn't someone say they had the emulation down, but the arrange mode was taking a lot of time?

Batrider next please!

Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
I should also chime in and say its easy to create a US account also. I did this for my UK PS4 solely for Dangun Feveron the same day of the Esprade announcement amusingly. Just pick an address in a State that doesn't have sales tax (I picked Oregon).Glick wrote:It's also pretty easy to buy them on PSN (digitally) or PlayAsia/Amazon (physical, if it ends up existing). And I'm also very excited by the news of the Esprade port. I didn't play the game until 2004 via mame, but I can only imagine what an impression the game would have made on me had I seen it in an arcade in 1998. IMO, one of Cave's finest.
Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Could be wrong on this, but I think it was that they had the base game emulation down, but were struggling with the side trinkets.Leviathan wrote:Didn't someone say they had the emulation down, but the arrange mode was taking a lot of time?

Completely agree, and a big issue with digital distribution. You shouldn't need to monkey around creating essentially fraudulent accounts just to play a game. We have region free physical games but oh now everything's locked behind region-specific stores.Marc wrote:I'd just like any of them to get a release over here....
Hopefully they decide to put the effort in to getting it running on Switch, because it seems anyone can slap a game on that eshop.

Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Oh wow. This would have been one of my top 3 wants, for games for them to do.
Hopefully we can get Batrider, Bakraid, Dimahoo, and a good port of Ibara.
I wouldn't be against a release of DoDonPachi either.
But this is a big one for me. So, I'll just be grateful for this one.
I was happy about Ketsui, I got Ketsui...but I already had it on the 360. Keep the non-HD released, or poorly ported games coming.

It's really cool that Joker Jun is doing fresh art for this release. Love that reflection detail on the floor: https://www.m2stg.com/esprade/assets/img/espkey2.jpg
Just imagine if all arcade ports were like M2's latest ones

According to Junya Inoue in an interview he revealed the art was for PS4 Ltd Edition (hopefully it's a physical release)Jonst wrote:Please just tell me that this is going to get a physical release?!

This literally tipped me into buying a PS4 during Boxing Day sales! I'll gladly buy the physical release if there is one, otherwise it's good to have these on a device that isn't marred by the region-locking days of yore.

Am all over this whether it's a physical or download version.

Will pick this up on Xbox as long as they keep supporting it. We need more options and choices than just PS4.

Re: M2 ShotTriggers: ESP rade
Isn't it odd that this is the same conundrum we as gamers have been having forever? It's made worse by the fact that the hardware gaps are substantially less than they have ever been, or that porting games from last century can be that tricky? You know I thought Xbox had been treating STG games really well last gen, and this one??? Thank the devs and community behind MAME, but man we want to pay our respect and cash to the original developers when possible, console wars past and future be damned. Rant over.Astro City II wrote:Will pick this up on Xbox as long as they keep supporting it. We need more options and choices than just PS4.
I'll take the game in what ever flavor it arrives in first, and hope they don't drop extras on the other platform I don't have. Looking at you Ketsui Deathtiny... after I just got the 360 version.
I would like to play ESPrade very much.

Yess
With Garegga, ESPrade and Deathiny, PS4 acquisition is becoming more critical...

They need to put Dangun Feveron and Esprade on the same disc.
