Before Blackcloak works his magic, in the meantime, can someone translate this list of requested M2 ports? Besides the obvious 19XX, I see Tatsujin Ou on there but nothing else I recognize.

Its worth mentioning that the number next to each game is the number of votes.

One of the bottlenecks for a rerelease of Armed Police Batrider by M2 is that it runs even slower than Battle Garegga, as the game came out afterwards. Overall, games from the latter half of the 90s are barely able to run with the PS4’s specs in M2 rereleases.
Huh. That's interesting.

I vote for the magic spell that causes the originals of games with modern ports to become affordable again
blog - scores - collection
Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

Laptops weaker than ps4 can run Batrider fullspeed in mame..

..or this is situation like with OG Xbox emulation where we currently have 5 fps on most titles even today?

I think the PS4 uses a semi-modern AMD CPU so they must be going for complete low-level-cycle-accuracy or something. I thought MAME did that too, though?

Accurate emulation AND provisions for low-latency inputs AND gadgets AND quick loading times all add up, essentially.

That summary leaves out a lot of stuff, they talked about pretty much everything you'd want them to talk about.

If they are pushing it on the PS4 it makes me wonder about how many games they'll be able to port to their standards to the Switch. Hopefully things turn out well for Darius Cozmic Collection, although last I checked there were no more preorder copies available.

Interesting that they had originally planned Dangun Feveron for the 360!
