Weird lag issue

I'm having an issue with response lag in some games, mainly Mushihimesama on Steam.

It's weird because it is not input lag, and doesn't seem to be display lag. I say that because when I show the controls on screen, it registers inputs with almost no lag. The on screen stick moves exactly when I input something. I was watching a video of me playing and there is clearly a lag of a couple frames between what the control shows and Reco actually moving.

If it was input lag or display lag, wouldn't the control display also lag? I don't understand.

cv1k games all have roughly 2 frames of lag even on pcb

I see, that's fine if it's normal. Just wanted to make sure it isn't my rig.

just make sure vsync is off if you don't have some gsync or freesync or whatever they call it
