Never say never, but I hear you. I still haven't 1CC'd most of the shmups I've owned for 20 years plus, because I'm stubborn and always try to do so on the default difficulty, rather than turning it down just to get through it

I just beaten it on 1.5 mode which i guess is similiar difficulty to normal mode.
