I don't know what Niitani really would have done at MileStone anyway. He very quickly became a "producer", whatever that could have possibly meant at Compile, and probably had no real connection with "some of the Zanac X Zanac team that were newly hired" (he was even credited as just "executive producer" for that game, which somehow means even less). I don't really see his stake in this; even CAVE has stronger ties to Toaplan.

Whatever the case my be, I'll find out more when the interview is fully translated.

And seriously man, no need to be negative. The man has his reasons I'm sure. And it's not like he's outright bashing anyone, just giving his honest opinion.

There isn't really a difference between those two things. Not anymore, anyway.

I love both milestone and compile and you're taking this way too hard man. He's a jokey guy, I'm sure it wasn't said in a completely serious way.

Any updates on the translation? Also, it's too bad would've been great to ask about development for Power Strike II--if game was meant to be played on 50hz (PAL territory) or 60hz (Japan where it was made and Brazil where it was also released?).

It's amazing that we can still find any of the folks whose works sits so close to our thumbs and hearts. Doubly so that they recall the amount they do. What we have so far from this interview is the tip of the iceberg. AggroSky has done something awesome, comparable to the works at shmuplations.
