Up to now I've been ordering JPN PSN cards. Is there an easier way? I tried linking my UK PayPal account to my JPN PSN account but it wouldn't link. What's the easiest way I can do this?

Definitely possible, but who knows. The way things are going this gen, the trend seems to be that in Japan, most stuff only comes out on PS4, but if they do any kind of Western release, they do an Xbox One port as well. I don't think M2 has even published anything else this gen though, so who knows what kind of stuff they'll end up doing.

Would be nice if they added some kind of arrange mode (as they've done with the Sega arcade ports to 3DS) or some mode with balance and signposting tweaks (one extend is too stingy, enemies come from the bottom of the screen w/ no warning in one section, etc).

(Unless those tweaks mean stuff like Fantasy Zone II DX's save state feature, which ruined the game!)

Also curious what's going on with Ubusuna, which M2 announced as a PS4 download quite a while ago.

What a *strange* game to start with. Yes, many of us love it, but it doesn't have the flash of DDP or the fan requests of Ibara, no Reko or even history of ESP Ra.De. How many of us thought this was a legit joke upon reading it.

However, I'm not complaining! Hopefully this port will be an easy one and maybe if it's easy enough/makes some cash, we can expect something else! Progear would be equally as WTF as Dangun Feveron IMO! I'm in the U.S., will be moving to Europe in a few months. As long as I can buy this, count me in! Bet trophies will be killer.

It's more than likely not getting physical, there's no other shmups that have gotten physical on PS4 yet except they're claiming the Caladrius remaster is getting one, but even that is only for Asia release, not for the Japanese release. I wouldn't imagine they'll spend the resources on a physical release for a 20 year old arcade shmup if they won't even do it for stuff like DariusBurst CS or Caladrius.

Yeah, it's not just Gematsu, but the image there is from Famitsu, and I'm guessing their info came straight from M2 themselves.

So I'd say this is confirmed as digital only, no physical release.

The image in the Gematsu link says it's "download delivery" in Japanese. This means no physical release. That image is a screencap I took from the Cave Matsuri nicovideo stream it first appeared on.

Feveron is Horii-san's favorite Cave game. He was very disappointed when Cave decided not to release it on the XBLA store. This was a result of Guwange having poor sales. Especially because the game was already completed. Yes, the XBLA port you're never going to see is actually already finished.

Horii is also super surprised anyone in the west even knows about Feveron.

And...it's been forever since playing/researching the game...are there any differences between DF and Fever SOS? Revision date is the same...just wondering if it was a title change only.
