I'm hoping it's compatible with the PSTV. It should be since it wouldn't need touch controls but that's true for a lot of games that aren't compatible. Since other than this there's really nothing on the PS4 I want to play to make buying the console worth it, the Vita version on PSTV is the only way I'll get to play it.
As a relatively new development... you can now block the whitelist on the PSTV via homebrew so you can play all the games.

Nin-Nin-Game: DARIUSBURST CHRONICLE SAVIOURS - EBTEN LIMITED EDITION [PSVITA] ¥12490
How to Get Wacky Japanese Products Shipped to Your Door
I came across the article because of a pop-up ad at the chara-ani site that lead to this https://www.buysmartjapan.com/index.php ... a5145.html

http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=33101
Thanks for the NNG link. ¥12490 isn't bad at all, about $103.13. I'll likely be going with them. Even with EMS shipping, this should beat Play-Asia's price.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

DO NOT buy ANYTHING from Nin Nin Games EVER..... trust me.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Interesting that they're taking preorders for this, but not for the standard edition. Hmmm. And it took them a while to even get their preorder up for the LE.

Ah, whatever. I ended up buying it from Play Asia, regular edition. Had NCSX offered the preorder, I might have gone through them. Not a big deal.

"Collection of Darius Burst illustration cels by Kanetake Ebikawa (16 pages in color, 8 pages monochrome)"

Er, that's the LE Darius Odyssey book? That definitely not the same as the Darius Odyssey book I have - that one's more like over 100 pages, nearly all colour iirc and spans all Darius games.

Robo-translation from chara-ani:
Shop Limited Edition benefits , "DARIUS ODYSSEY official Book" CA Ver. New 16P of color 8P · monochrome 8P is added to the "DARIUS ODYSSEY official Cels (Enterbrain, November 2013)." "Kanetake Ebikawa" draw down of other add new boss illustration, etc., "Fujimaru blue" draw down of, recorded a new work of "WARNING !! Darius san". Original Arrange Album CD original arrangement album luxurious guest arranger of "ZUNTATA" and four people participated (12 songs). Album Participating Artists: Nobuyoshi Sano, ZUNTATA, SEGA "Hiro", Michiru Yamane, Yasuhisa Watanabe (in alphabetical order titles omitted)
I suppose "CA Ver." is "Chara-Ani version" - so they may be packaging a brochure with DBCS art together with the 159 page 2013 Darius Odyssey book.

Right so it's the same Darius Odyssey book already previously released, and the only original LE content is an audio CD and a Burst specific brochure?

OK, so the NCSX ad is just completely misleading.

I'm sure he will in his own time ... but Degica Digital Publishing has been handling the RPG Maker series (steam: RPG Maker MV) for Kadokawa - so it isn't that much of a stretch to guess that Degica is handling the sales of DBCS Windows - and that they are possibly involved in the i18n/l10n process.

Looking at the RPG Maker prices I'm somehow not expecting DBCS Windows to be any cheaper than the PS4 version.

Oh, I guess we're finally cleared to talk about this then =P. Yep, DBCS is also one of our projects. I'll post some more detailed information when I get a chance to focus on this (a bit preoccupied with Mushi atm).

Some stuff posted on Twitter recently:

Here's some more screenshots, including some of a new boss and a new player ship. None showing the extra-wide aspect ratio, though.

The game's available for pre-order on Amazon.co.jp now, the Vita version at least.

Also there'll be more coming on the Zuntata stream this Saturday at 20:00 JST.

Not without using a proxy service.

Amazon Japan ships some items to the US; games they don't.
