As a relatively new development... you can now block the whitelist on the PSTV via homebrew so you can play all the games.cfx wrote:In the two videos released so far, some of the in-game footage is shown in a 16:9 ratio with small letterbox bars. Those gameplay bits are also coincidentally all single-player, so wouldn't it be fairly safe to assume that's footage of the Vita version?
I'm hoping it's compatible with the PSTV. It should be since it wouldn't need touch controls but that's true for a lot of games that aren't compatible. Since other than this there's really nothing on the PS4 I want to play to make buying the console worth it, the Vita version on PSTV is the only way I'll get to play it.

Thanks for the NNG link. ¥12490 isn't bad at all, about $103.13. I'll likely be going with them. Even with EMS shipping, this should beat Play-Asia's price.HydrogLox wrote:Nin-Nin-Game: DARIUSBURST CHRONICLE SAVIOURS - EBTEN LIMITED EDITION [PSVITA] ¥12490gameoverDude wrote:Will ebten or C-A ship overseas? NCSX is taking preorders for the limited edition at the moment. ($118.90 before shipping)

DO NOT buy ANYTHING from Nin Nin Games EVER..... trust me.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Interesting that they're taking preorders for this, but not for the standard edition. Hmmm. And it took them a while to even get their preorder up for the LE.Zach Keene wrote:NCSX is taking preorders for the limited edition at the moment. ($118.90 before shipping)
Ah, whatever. I ended up buying it from Play Asia, regular edition. Had NCSX offered the preorder, I might have gone through them. Not a big deal.

"Collection of Darius Burst illustration cels by Kanetake Ebikawa (16 pages in color, 8 pages monochrome)"
Er, that's the LE Darius Odyssey book? That definitely not the same as the Darius Odyssey book I have - that one's more like over 100 pages, nearly all colour iirc and spans all Darius games.

Right so it's the same Darius Odyssey book already previously released, and the only original LE content is an audio CD and a Burst specific brochure?

OK, so the NCSX ad is just completely misleading.trap15 wrote:No, they've added 16 pages to the book.

Re: DARIUS BURST CHRONICLE SAVIOURS (Windows/PS4/Vita)
I'm sure he will in his own time ... but Degica Digital Publishing has been handling the RPG Maker series (steam: RPG Maker MV) for Kadokawa - so it isn't that much of a stretch to guess that Degica is handling the sales of DBCS Windows - and that they are possibly involved in the i18n/l10n process.trap15 wrote:Blackbird, youz got some 'splainin to do
Looking at the RPG Maker prices I'm somehow not expecting DBCS Windows to be any cheaper than the PS4 version.
Re: DARIUS BURST CHRONICLE SAVIOURS (Windows/PS4/Vita)
Oh, I guess we're finally cleared to talk about this then =P. Yep, DBCS is also one of our projects. I'll post some more detailed information when I get a chance to focus on this (a bit preoccupied with Mushi atm).

All I want to know is when is the digital PC release hitting, and will U.S. gamers be able to get it once it's out?
Re: DARIUS BURST CHRONICLE SAVIOURS (Windows/PS4/Vita)
So it will be available on Steam like Mushi?Blackbird wrote:Oh, I guess we're finally cleared to talk about this then =P. Yep, DBCS is also one of our projects. I'll post some more detailed information when I get a chance to focus on this (a bit preoccupied with Mushi atm).

Some stuff posted on Twitter recently:
Here's some more screenshots, including some of a new boss and a new player ship. None showing the extra-wide aspect ratio, though.
The game's available for pre-order on Amazon.co.jp now, the Vita version at least.
Also there'll be more coming on the Zuntata stream this Saturday at 20:00 JST.
