Game Sound Legend Series CD-BOX (Limited to 2000 only)
Just pre-ordered mine... being both a shmup/retro game fan and game music fan in general, I have to have it. (Shmup) musics I noticed in the listings include gradius 1 and 2, r-type leo, not sure what else, hopefully more. The DVD has got me interested though... only information it has there for it is "Special DVD: Sega SDI, Irem R-Type etc. *Complete new recordings*". I am hoping they are complete loops of the game, and hopefully a good few games in there. I'm sure more information will surface somewhere.

This made me think of an interesting question, has anyone ever written Shmup Music Reviews or something of that kind? Or have a Top 20 list of their favorite Shmup songs? Songs to Shmup By? Something like that?
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.
