That hidden Dead Ops arcade game in CoD black ops is extremely good. I really played the shit out of it, didn't 1cc (it's possible) but I constantly got to that reddish construction stage with lots of metal. (Where some fat guys start spawning, if I remember right). You can't credit feed it either, it's really pretty hard but fair and I'm gonna download black ops right now just to play this again omfg

This was 2 years before I ever heard the term "shmup".
What's interesting is that for a looong time after the game came out you'd always find people playing that hidden shooter online, thousands of CoD kiddies exposed to a top down arcadey experience.

I would like to try out Mars Matrix but I don't have a Dreamcast nor a powerful enough PC to emulate it. '^_^

I do have a Wii to play Milestone shmups, though. And they are aaaawesome~

are you sure? I got basically fullspeed CPS2 emulation on a netbook in shmupMAME (with frameskip, anyway).
I should really try out some milestone games one of these days...

KAI's constant slurping on Milestone's collective throbbing, veiny cock convinced me to give them another lick after initially dismissing them.
Tried Ilvelo, really easy but super fun with all the mini caravan warp levels, will check out Radirgy eventually. k.h.d.n's music has always been where it's at though.

What platform is Ilvelo on? I have a Dreamcast, so I could conceivably pirate a backup and try out Radirgy, but IDK about Ilvelo.
