Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this, blackoak. It's always fascinating to hear the original developers talking about their experiences and their thought processes when they made what are arguably some of the best shooting games ever made.

That seems right (duh)... I think I only thought "Club" because the Gradius Wiki lists it that way, but that wouldn't be the first mistake I've seen there. I wonder if the name is given officially anywhere, like in english instruction booklets etc? Fantastic article and set of interviews. I dont recall seeing an interview with Miki Higashino (composer for Gradius) though
