Crazy stage 3 is crazy.
YOS.K pushed on the refill button.

Btw, ever on stage 3 GPbonus look to be underestimated. There is no score glitch like stage 5 last video, but the area is too small to contain GPbonus AND the "+" glyph.
Yes, Stage 3 is crazy. Saw numerous game overs on that level yesterday or shortly after it.

It's still way too soon to be asking for ports of the game IMO - if they ported it now, they'd be shooting all the arcade operators who bought it in the foot. It hasn't been out long enough for them to make back their investment yet.

That said, whether it gets a port at all on an actual gaming console has yet to be seen - we have no way of knowing exactly how many copies Mushihimesama HD moved, but the Media Create numbers aren't encouraging.

Oh wow... 3000 dollars for that. I'l never understand PCB collectionists.

It will SURELY have a port so, why not support the arcade in the actual arcade?

I respect people who buy the PCB's. If I had the money, and a nice candy cab, this is what I'd do.

If I had that kinda cash actually I'd probably just open an arcade, and have all the latest Cave games.

Wasn't Akai Katana and Death Smiles 2 both released in arcades and at home in the same year? Sorry for my lack of Cave knowledge.

AK was super quick, like 9 months from arcade release to home release. But this one didn't have a great shelf life in the arcade from what I understand.

Deathsmiles II was about a year apart.

The pressing question on everybody's mind:

Is the girl on the game's homepage hugging a disembodied butt (with legs)?

From the first version of DSII arcade (mid May '09) to the DSIIX Xbox port (late May '10).

Glorious, glorious soundtrack postage! About time. This soundtrack, and the game's sound in general, has actually grown on me quite a bit.

The SDOJ OST is a shitty awesomeness

- it's shitty because it lacks a lot of the depth that Manabu Namiki has done in most of his works either in structure, rythim and instruments selection

- It's awesome because it does have some very good parts for what it really is if you analyze it a bit.

I'm looking for the arranged soundtrack "a la Akai Katana" when the port comes for a console (hopefully the 360)

Ok, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

dat image song... I can see then some months ago saying "oh yes, the image song?... yeah, don't worry, do something quickly, we don't have the time... yeah, whatever will be good just make it"

and so, the shittiest image song in the history of Cave was born.

That's good to hear with several SDOJ PCBs in circulation for the Bay Area. How about a multi SDOJ PCB showdown at one of Dave K.'s shmupmeets then? The more, the merrier as they say.

Still would like to do a side-by-side candy cab comparision running both DDP-DFK 1.5 and DDP-SDOJ PCBs running concurrently just for kicks.

At what point would you guys say is a good time to start worrying about this not getting a port?

How long was it between Akai Katana's arcade release and Shin's announcement?

It'll get a port eventually, as long as Cave continues to exist. Maybe not on the current generation of consoles though.

What console would it be on if not this gen? The Wii U is hardly an ideal fit, and the Xbox Next/PS4 are going to be prohibitively expensive to develop for. Though, I think we've gone over this already.
