Ahaha, had my hunch it was you.
Google Translate tells me that Unlimited Mode "is for people who like festivals."

I'll be streaming some ESPGaluda a little later tonight (couple hours from this post). I'll post again once I begin. The channel will be http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gomjabbar-s-sc2

I don't think I'll have any mic commentary this time but I'll read the chat between games.

I asked him if he played CAVE games a while back and he said "very very little". I wish I'd seen that!

Finally got things running smoothly, (for the most part anyway). Will be playing Crimzon Clover off and on today. Don't expect expert scoring strategies or witty commentary, just me talking to myself trying for a 1cc.

Very cool. You got me interested in Super Meat Boy.

As far as Crimzon Clover goes I suggest you watch some replays like this onf from LtC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJfWvIxAajw

Also read the thread in the strategy section. That helped me a lot! Hopefully I'll catch the next stream.

Nice! That's the kind of feedback I like to hear. I just wish I had some money to throw at this since the quality isn't great and the sound is a little low. Right now the shmup scene, (if you can even call it that), on JTV is all credit feeding through recent Cave ports and the occasional Gradius with Konami code. Trying to fill the void as best I can. :x

I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

Thanks for this. Here's a direct link: http://livetube.cc/tag.STG. Streams with a blank timestamp column are live. Right now there is one STG stream, of Strikers 1945. It's the first in the list.

I'm an avid twitch.tv viewer, and what reminded me of this thread (and site) was finally finding someone streaming shmups on there. He's doing 15 days in a row starting at 9pm PST. Day 1 was Gradius III.

'-' SHMUP O' THON 2013 - 15 Days, 15[+] Classic Console SHMUPS - Day #2 - Thunder Force III '-'

I'd like to maintain a list of active links to shmup streamers in the OP. Just provide the minimal direct link to the user/stream. Please let me know if a link is no longer active.

Streams that are known to occasionally play shmups are fine. I checked all the previous ones in this thread and didn't find any active ones.
