My LE from PA has shipped, went with FedEx since UPS has borked a few of my deliveries. Says the estimated time of delivery is tomorrow morning

Even with the shipping delay at NCSX yesterday, I got an email from UPS that my SE should be arriving in the mail tomorrow (via standard shipping too!) which is a very pleasant surprise. I thought it would come in on Monday at the earliest with the crazy blizzard going on in that area. I'm about an hour away from these guys so I don't know why I've been using PA over them for the longest time.

I'll definitely be ordering from them from now on. Their customer service seems better and I'll neither have to worry about shipping delays from Hong Kong nor whether or not some guy who ordered a game after the release date is randomly going to get my preorder bonus instead of me. Go NCSX!

Amiami shipped my copy and gave me "half price" on EMS for Feb.

It was still 1200 with -600 off, isn't their normal EMS normally 1400?

I got my LE shipping notification from Play-Asia at 3:47am this morning, shipped via EMS.

I got my SE shipping notification from NCS at 2:35pm this afternoon, shipped via UPS.

Judging by the tracking information, the SE should get here tomorrow. I don't expect to see the LE until Monday.

My last gamefaqs post was modded because I was gently flaming m3tall1ca because he was giving us a hard time about us posting our Galuda2 shipping progress.... I told him to argue about the box-art with shmups.com members

My opinion is that the LE has a much higher quality painting than the SE art, the clothing, hair, and sky has nice highlights, shadows, and reflections, instead of just "click-click" fills that look simple and flat.

Both mine are underway, SE by land, LE by air. I'm pretty impressed to read the UPS truck leaving NY after 10pm... isn't it snow apocalypse round 4 up there?

The LE might beat my Monday expectation at this rate... though I'd have to struggle to get out of bed to make it to my PO Box by noon Saturday when they close. But I'm probably going to be playing the SE by then anyway, so no big loss if it doesn't make it by then.

Curious as to why people bought both versions, maybe you

1) figured they (Cave & Importers) need all the support they can get, especially for a niche genre...

2) want one copy to play and one to keep buried in their backyard, bomb shelter, displayed on some kinda shrine, etc...

3) couldn't decide which box-art was better...

4) to resell, trade bait, loan to friends...

As for me, well, I'm not really sure.

I really ordered both as a backup, to ensure I got at least one copy with the soundtrack CD. Both my orders would have been LEs if not for NCS's ridiculous markup on the LE this time around.

The region free announcement on the SE means it'll probably end up as a gift to a friend, just like my extra Mushihimesama Futari LE.
