I'm always curious as heck about obscure shmups; I've read that this one plays a lot like Galaga.

Evidently there is one other CD-I shmup that was never finished called Space Ranger.

Yes, I have it. It is indeed a cross between space invaders and galaga. Pretty good for the CD-I.

Still, Dave, I suggest that you stayed away from the CD-I. Interactive was a buzzword that meant that you navigated a digital adventure using menus. The CD-I is not a gaming system.
Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.

A very good shmup for the CDi is the Steel Machine I actually wrote a review of it many eons ago.Lemme see if I can find it
