In a fiscal report Cave published today there's little bit on planned releases for so called consumer market, along Mushihimesama and Deathsmiles II they mention Espgaluda II aswell...no platform, but it's safe to guess it'll be Xbox360 again.

I'm surprised that no one seen the below sentence after the part about consumer release for Mushihime-sama Futari ver.1.5, Espgaluda II and Deathsmiles II.

This is some boner-inducing news. I got to play a few credits at an arcade in China (cost me 8 cents ) and it is out of control, a really fine game. I've been jonesing for some more rounds ever since I got home since I never got the hang of the new kakusei-something-something mode, so it'll be sweet to have a copy that doesn't cost a thousand bucks or entail leaving my basement. Though I am kind of surprised that they're porting it; it's a considerably less friendly game than DS or futari, and I was half expecting them to not port anything earlier than futari after they first announced that game. But yeah, great news if it hits the 360. 2010 should be a good year for 360 owners.

The 360 is truely becoming the SHMUP system of this gen, i can alot more titles coming now due to lets say DeathSmiles sales which surprised even Cave themselves.

Yeah, this is the most excited I've been about a shmup release in awhile.

I jumped on the Japanese 360 bandwagon when Raiden IV was announced and put up for pre-order on Play-Asia nearly a year ago. I am very glad I did, and I plan to get every shooter that comes out on the console. Mainly because I slacked during the PS2 era and missed my window of opportunity for getting most of its import shooters at an affordable price. Which resulted in me owning a decent selection of them, but not all the ones I would wish to own at this point.

I just get them all for 360, pre-ordering as soon as possible, and asking questions later. Shooters are like video game investments in a sense, especially with the imports. You can always make some decent return on them later if you so choose. I'd rather wade through a couple duds now, and not have regrets later for not getting some of them when I had the chance.

My Xbox 360 Collection thus far:

-Raiden Fighters Aces (Yeah, I had the Import one, but I have to support the genre here too)

I have all those so far, and now the Cave titles will really be pouring out in the coming year, I can't wait to get the following:

-Mushihime-Futari
-ESPGaluda II
-DeathSmiles II

I wonder what else is in the works from other developers? Hopefully some other great titles to look forward to in addition to those.
