I bet we'll get it eventually.

Of course, that's just an opinion.

Can't wait to see the cover art for the Play Just 4 FUN Category: Nerd Glasses version

Looks good. Just can't decide which is less annoying cumbersome to own, a naomi or a wii?

Don't hold your breath for a Wii version. The PCB is selling so well that the brand new price of 100,000 yen (about half of normal arcade releases of this stature) was too high, and they're now retailing for 70,000 yen. Even 40,000 yen used at G-Front, the shittiest PCB retailer on Earth.

Didn't NCSX take pre-orders last week or two weeks ago for this game for the Wii?GaijinPunch wrote:Don't hold your breath for a Wii version. What is it with Aida Tadayo? Is she the official mascot of Radigy? Do the creators have a crush on her or something?cj iwakura wrote:

And is UFO bringing this again? Lord only knows they'll substitute the boxart for something even more ugly. I really wish XSEED brought this over instead.

For all the horrible packaging of ULTIMATE SHOOTING COLLECTION, I thought Radilgy had a pretty good localization. It was both funny and nonsensical(in a good way).sfried wrote:What is it with Aida Tadayo? Is she the official mascot of Radigy? Do the creators have a crush on her or something?cj iwakura wrote:

Radirgy's localization was okay.
I might be able to say something about Karous's localization if I could read the tiny, tiny print.

Re: Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noah
I put some time in on this the other day (and yes, I saw the Wii release much to my surprise). I'm quite thrilled as it's not a bad game, although there are better cell-shaded graphics out there. There's someone on YJ on a mission to dump all the old Naomi carts before the release. They've been going for about 25,000 yen each, and he posts in groups of 5.

I pre ordered mine today, can't wait to try it out. I loved Radirgy so I'm sure I'll love this one too.

Anxious to play it.
Re: Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noah
I'm trying to tell myself I don't need this game. But the more I realize that its coming out soon, the more I want to import the game.
But its difficult considering how much the game cost. Not sure if its worth the import price. When I got ultimate shooting collections for only 30$ that was an awesome deal.

FYI, the release date has been set to TBA, from what I know. Pushing it back any further will put it in direct competition w/ ESPGaluda II, so I'm assuming March now? But, of course, who knows.

25th Feb , according to PA
the makers are obviously suckers for punishment, or sado-masochists, as this is the week Espgaluda II comes out on 360.

Yo, why does this series have like, 8 different titles and spellings?
Radirgy
Radilgy
Radiargy
Radio Allergy
Rajirunogia Wii
Radirgy Noah
Fuuuuck.
Can we get a Recap-esq referee to sort this shit out? How the hell do I type this game's name?

Re: Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noah
The original title commonly romanized from Katakana is Rajirugi, which is a combination of Rajio (the Japanese loan word for Radio) and Arerugi (a Japanese loan word for Allergy). So, if we take the original English words and use a relative construction, we get Radirgy (Radio Allergy).DJ Incompetent wrote:Yo, why does this series have like, 8 different titles and spellings?

Re: Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noah
So West saying Radio Allergy and East saying Radirgy makes sense. Thanks.
Then what is happening to create all the other weird variations? Especially Rajirunogia at play-asia?

Re: Sequel to Radirgy - Radirgy Noah
Rajirunogia looks like a simple mistake. Two of the characters from the Japanese title (Rajirugi Noa) have been swapped ('gi' and 'no'). If you ignore the loan-word basis, I suppose you could romanize the title as Radilgy, Ladirgy or Ladilgy. I guess Radiargy is an attempt to recreate the number of syllables from the Japanese Ra Ji Ru Gi (Ra Di Ar Gy, in this case, as Radirgy normally ends up as 3 syllables: Ra Dir Gy).DJ Incompetent wrote:Then what is happening to create all the other weird variations? They seem to be sticking with the Wii this generation (and never touched the original XBox last time around), so I doubt it.Phellan Wolf wrote:This may sound wird bt any chances that Milestone decides to port the game to X360???

Does anyone else here have the naomi cart? I have a question if you do.
Sidenote: the game is pretty rad!
